Good morning! My name is Greg and I have dedicated my life to being a supermarket manager. All my staff agree that I am the best manager ever because I enjoy a joke and the occasional swear. My favourite kind of joke is a knock knock joke because they are always funny and I know everybody enjoys them because every time I say one they all laugh hysterically. My favourite day of the year is April Fools Day because it is the one day of the year where I can do what I am best at; being funny. 6:30am- I arrive at work. This is funny because I was supposed to open the store at 6am. 7:00am- I inform the staff that I have given my assistant manager the day off and therefore they will have to do his work for him. 7:05am- I sit in the office and pretend to do work. This is funny because people think I really am doing work. 7:30am- I inform the staff that I will be leaving at 9am and they will have to do my work aswell. 8:00am- I gather everybody around and inform them that stocktake is next week even though I have known this for weeks. 8:30am- I inform the staff that I will not be present during stocktake because I have booked a trip out of the state. 9:00am- I leave the store without letting anybody know. 9:30am- I call and inform the staff that I may not be back for three or more weeks because I have been called for jury duty. 10:45am- I board a flight and leave the state in order to make my joke seem more authentic.
